2023 Tournament Results
The event was held Saturday 19-Jun-2023 at the Line Mountain Jr./Sr. High School sports fields in Herndon, PA. This was our 15th year anniversary and with COVID restrictions somewhat in the past, we open the event up to more teams. This year we welcomed for the first-time youth club teams. In all, the tournament welcomed 63 teams across 6 divisions with more than 2,500 players, parents and fans turning out for the event. This was our largest event to date. This year the weather was really perfect for a day out watching and/or playing in the largest High School 7v7 Tournament.

To be in the race for the Championship trophy you must have a least 1 team in each of the following 3 out of the 4 divisions High School Girls, High School Boys, Middle School Girls and Middle School Boys. This year we had 5 schools in the race for the trophy. Trying to knock Shikellamy off the top of the mountain. Hughesville was up to the challenge. The 2023 Overall School Champions were the Spartans from Hughesville. Congratulations.

This year the tournament had a record 22 high school boy's teams broken up across four brackets. There was some really great soccer and excellent skill displayed on the day. Great soccer to watch! Very spirited. At the end, it was the boys from Fleetwood that came out as the 2023 champions.
This year there were 14 High School girl's teams competing. They competed round robin style across four brackets. We had teams from southern PA and from the northern tier again this year. A great mix of the central Susquehanna valley. The Lady Hawks from Susquenita won the day.
This year we had 8 teams split across two brackets in the Middle School Girls bracket. They played in the morning session and had some of the best games of the day. This year's Middle School Girls champions were the Lady Spartans from Hughesville.
This year the tournament had 10 middle school boy's teams. This was one of our largest brackets in the past 15 years for the MSB. The competition was really tough, and games were fun to watch. Our champions were the Spartans from Hughesville.
Club teams were invited to this year's event. This gave some local travel teams a chance to play in a close to home event against some good competition. We had 9 team overall across to divisions. There were 5 U10 Boys teams and 4 U12 Girls teams at this year's event. Team played on the Ian Latsha Memorial field and really did a great job on the day. It was nice to have the younger teams back at the event.
