Community Created Care Packages
In celebration of our 10th year (2018), we partnered with local businesses and service organizations to create and deliver Military Care Packages to service men and women around the world. We had all the supplies set up ready for the kids to pack, create thank you cards and just spend time giving back to the community. The packages included non-perishable food, hygiene products, personal care products and a hand written letter from the package creator. In all we packed 200 care packages and sent them off to waiting service men and women. This was our way of saying thank you to all the student athletes who have or plan to go on to join the military. We are proud of each and every one of these young men and women.
Ronald McDonald House of Danville “Grab-a-Tab” Story
Once a beverage or a product can is opened, the little tabs used to do the trick are often forgotten and discarded. A tool once vital to fulfilling its cause is suddenly rendered useless and ends up at the bottom of a garbage pail. That little tab, however, is indispensable to the Ronald McDonald House of Danville. The Ronald McDonald House relies on its collection and recycling to help finance the many programs it offers, as well as the day-to-day operation of the House. Through the Ronald McDonald House’s “Grab-a-Tab” program, local schools and organizations all over Pennsylvania are grabbing the tabs from beverage, soup and dessert cans. It doesn’t matter what color the tab is just grab them and deliver them to the House or a designated recycling center. The tabs are weighed and cashed in by the pound. The “Grab-a-Tab” program is a community friendly fund-raising program. It allows people of all ages to join in the effort of providing a “Home-Away-from-Home” to children with cancer and other serious illnesses and their families.

Activities Over The Years
2012 - Schuylkill Valley Sports Passback Program
We once again collaborated with Schuylkill Valley Sports to collect gently used sports equipment.
2011 - Schuylkill Valley Sports Passback Program
The Soccer Boosters partnered with one of our loyal sponsors and their gently used sports equipment pass back program. Teams were asked to bring their unwanted sports equipment to the event and in return they recieved a gift certificate from Schuylkill Valley Sports. Many teams participated and were happy to help those athletes that do not have the means to purchase shoes, balls, shin guards and other equipment.
2010 - Thailand Water Filtration ProjectIn 2010, we partnered with the Danville Rotary Club to raise money for the Thailand Water Filtration Project. We had small games and donation opportunities at the tournament. The efforts of the Line Mountain soccer boosters and the tournament attendees combined with the Danville Rotary funds to purchase three water filtration systems in rural Thailand. Each system provides clean safe drinking water for 1,500 people every day.
