2022 Tournament Results

The event was held Saturday 18-Jun-2022 at the Line Mountain Jr./Sr. High School sports fields in Herndon, PA. With COVID restrictions still somewhat in effect, we once again elected to have a scaled down event this year. We cut the younger AYSO divisions and limited the teams at the Middle School and High School levels. In all, the tournament welcomed 47 teams across 4 divisions with more than 1,700 players, parents and fans turning out for the event.

Even with a smaller turnout, the event was still able to make a difference for our local Ronald McDonald House in Danville, Pa. In all, there were over seven teams that donated tabs and we collected 110lbs of aluminum to donate. The teams from Berwick Lady Dawgs (68lbs) and Bermudian Springs Eagles (40lbs) donated the most. Great job!

Overall School Championship. A championship race for schools who have multiple teams across multiple divisions. To be in the race for the Championship trophy you must have a least 1 team in each of the following 3 out of the 4 divisions High School Girls, High School Boys, Middle School Girls and Middle School Boys. Last two years we saw Shikellamy take home the hardware. Well, they did it again, a three-peat for Shik!

This year the tournament had 18 high school boy's teams broken up across four brackets. There was some really great soccer and excellent skill displayed on the day. Great soccer to watch! Very spirited. At the end it was the boys from Biglerville, Biglerville Pink, that came out as the 2022 champions.

This year there were 14 High School girl's teams competing. They competed round robin style across four brackets. We had teams from southern PA and from the northern tier again this year. A great mix of the central Susquehanna valley. The Lady Braves from Shikellamy won the day.

This year we had 10 teams split across two brackets in the Middle School Girls bracket. They played in the morning session and had some of the best games of the day. This year's Middle School Girls champion was Shikellamy Lady Braves.
